Modern.az reports that this was stated by Kima Avdalyan, press secretary of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, on social networks.
She noted that the police officer, along with a group of more than 20 relatives and friends, brutally beat two investigators.
A criminal case has been opened regarding the incident. The police officer in question and two of his relatives have been detained.
It was determined that the police officer was intoxicated during the attack.
