The number of confirmed Ebola virus cases in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has reached 1561.
Modern.az reports that 506 people have lost their lives.
It was noted that currently 628 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals and isolation facilities. 253 patients have recovered and been discharged.
In Uganda, 19 cases of the virus have been recorded since May. Ebola has caused the death of 2 people in this country.
