Turkey expects US President Donald Trump to fulfill his promise regarding F-35 fighter jets.

Modern.az reports that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated this in an interview with "Al Jazeera" TV channel.

"We have received a promise from Trump regarding F-35 fighter jets and we expect him to keep this promise," the Turkish leader said.

Erdogan emphasized that his expectations for the resolution of the issue continue.
