US President Donald Trump announced on November 6 that American troops had carried out new limited strikes on Iran, destroying an anti-aircraft installation on Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz.
Modern.az reports that “ABC News” spread this information.
Trump told reporters after arriving in West Palm Beach, Florida, that he did not want to elaborate on the attacks.
“I don't want to talk about it. We are delivering small but effective strikes. They had deployed a small anti-aircraft installation, and we disabled it in about 15 minutes, maybe even 5 minutes,” the US president said.
Iran's “Tasnim” agency reported that two missiles had fallen on Qeshm Island.
Earlier, Iran's state news agency IRNA reported that local residents heard the sound of a flying apparatus, after which two munitions fell in the Suzi area in the south of the island.
