New Minister of Defense approved in Ukraine

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported President Volodymyr Zelensky's submission regarding the appointment of Yevhen Khmara to the post of Minister of Defense.

Modern.az reports that 312 deputies voted in favor of the decision.

With the decision supported by the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Yevhen Khmara was appointed to the post of Minister of Defense of the country.

David Arakhamia, the head of the "Servant of the People" faction, stated on his "Telegram" channel that Yevhen Khmara is a combat officer who has repeatedly risked his life for Ukraine.
