US President Donald Trump has said that if Republicans lose the midterm congressional elections, Americans will face difficult times.
Modern.az reports with reference to foreign media that Trump spoke about this during his speech at the Republican Party convention.
“If we lose, you will lose your border, you will lose your tax breaks, you will lose your security, you will lose your prosperity... You will live in hell – just like two years ago. We lived in hell. The whole world was laughing at us,” the US leader said.
Midterm elections to the US Congress are scheduled for November.
According to analysts' forecasts, Republicans face the risk of losing control of the House of Representatives to the Democrats.
Experts attribute the likely loss of the majority in the House to the decline in the US administration's rating and rising prices against the backdrop of a military campaign against Iran.
