Leaders of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland will meet in Cardiff on Monday to sign a declaration on their countries' right to hold self-determination and independence referendums.

It is noted that this is the first time that the governments of these three autonomous territories of Great Britain are led by political forces that support independence or the unification of Ireland.
The parties are expected to agree on cooperation in matters of economy, energy, relations with the European Union and preparation for a possible “post-Great Britain future.”
Scottish leader John Swinney said the current situation is “unsustainable” and it is time for Westminster to prepare for serious constitutional changes.
The Prime Minister of Great Britain, on the other hand, ruled out holding a new referendum on Scotland's independence until the next parliamentary elections.
