Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has paid a visit to Syria.
Modern.az reports that the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement about this.
According to the information, during the meetings between the minister and his Syrian counterpart, Asad Hassan Sheibani, within the framework of the visit, issues such as ensuring lasting peace, stability and prosperity in Syria, developing bilateral relations, and strengthening cooperation in the fields of trade, energy and transport will be discussed.
The parties are also expected to review issues related to the integration process in Syria, the self-dissolution of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), and the strengthening of the country's territorial integrity and state institutions. It is reported that the situation in southern Syria, as well as steps to be taken towards the country's security and stability, will also be discussed at the meetings.
