Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has imposed sanctions against Yulia Mendel, who served as his press secretary in 2019-2021.

Modern.az reports that the head of state signed a relevant decree in this regard.

Mendel was included in a list of 10 people, consisting of Ukrainian and Russian citizens. Kyiv accuses these individuals of spreading disinformation and Russian propaganda, as well as supporting Russia's aggressive policy against Ukraine.
