A missile was fired at a ship passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
Modern.az reports that the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) of the British Royal Navy issued a statement about this.
"The condition of the crew, damage assessment, and environmental impact are currently unknown," the statement said, adding that a fire broke out on the ship after the attack.
It was added that local authorities are on the scene and assisting with the evacuation of crew members: "While authorities are investigating, ships are advised to proceed with caution and report any suspicious activity to UKMTO."
