The supply of natural gas from Russia to Armenia will be temporarily suspended.
Modern.az reports that, according to "Gazprom Armenia", the reason for this is the planned-preventive and repair work on the main gas pipeline in Russia.
It was stated that the work will be carried out on the "North Caucasus-Transcaucasia" main gas pipeline. For this reason, gas supply from Russia to Armenia will be suspended on September 15-25.
The company's statement noted that during this period there will be no restrictions on the uninterrupted and reliable supply of gas to consumers in Armenia.
It is reported that the gas supply to the population and other consumers will be carried out at the expense of internal reserves and the supply of additional natural gas volumes from Iran.
