Pakistan has asked the Iranian leadership to influence the Houthis to prevent their attacks on Saudi Arabia and the country's energy infrastructure.

Modern.az, citing the Financial Times, reports that Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff, Asim Munir, has repeatedly appealed to the Iranian leadership, asking them to influence the Ansar Allah movement (Houthis) and achieve a halt to attacks against Saudi Arabia. During the appeals, Munir referred to Islamabad's commitments to Riyadh, including the "Mecca Agreement."

It should be recalled that Saudi Arabia, along with Pakistan, had also asked the US and China to appeal to Iran to stop Houthi attacks.
