According to a new Fox News poll in the US, 60 percent of respondents consider Washington's decision to go to war with Iran a wrong decision.
Modern.az reports that 71 percent of respondents believe that the Donald Trump administration does not have a clear strategy to end the conflict with Iran.
This opinion is shared by 95 percent of Democrats, 83 percent of independent voters, and 43 percent of Republicans.
According to the poll results, 60 percent of respondents called the US's decision to start military operations against Iran a wrong decision, while 37 percent supported this step. In the previous poll conducted in June, these figures were 58 and 41 percent, respectively.
47 percent of poll participants stated that the conflict with Iran will make the US less secure in the long term. In April, this figure was 39 percent. 32 percent of respondents believe that the war will make the US safer.
In the poll, the share of those who approved of Donald Trump's presidency was 39 percent, and the share of those who disapproved was 61 percent. The indicator of those who gave a positive assessment of his foreign policy activities fell to 37 percent.
The Fox News poll was conducted on September 11-14. The study involved 1211 registered voters randomly selected from the country's voter list. The possible statistical error margin for the overall results of the poll is 3 percentage points.
