Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit China to participate in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, but will not attend the G20 leaders' summit.

According to the information, the APEC summit will be held on November 18-19 in Shenzhen, China. The Russian head of state plans to personally attend this event for the first time since 2017.
The agency emphasizes that Putin prefers to avoid multilateral international platforms where there is a risk of direct confrontation with Ukraine's Western allies. Another reason for the Russian leader's refusal to attend the G20 summit is the possibility that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky may unexpectedly participate in the event.
Thus, Putin will meet with the chairman of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, within the framework of APEC, but will miss the G20 summit, which will also be attended by US President Donald Trump.
