President Donald Trump's special representative, Steve Witkoff, and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, are expected to represent the US in talks on Ukraine to be held in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, on November 10-11.
Modern.az reports that Reuters agency spread information about this, citing a US official.
It should be noted that Witkoff had previously announced that US-mediated talks would be held between Russia and Ukraine.
“The US will mediate working-level talks between Ukraine and Russia in Abu Dhabi on November 10-11. This will advance President Trump's mission to end the war,” the US president's special representative said on the social network “X”.
He noted that the talks will discuss post-war security measures, de-escalation, humanitarian efforts, and next steps towards peace.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed Moscow's readiness to resume trilateral talks with Ukraine during his meeting with US President's special representative Steve Witkoff.
