A Turkish company has signed an agreement with an unnamed “friendly and allied country” for the supply of 100,000 kamikaze drones.
Modern.az reports, citing "Defence Turkey" publication, that this is Pasifik Teknoloji company's first export agreement.
According to the agreement, the customer will acquire MERKÜT FPV type kamikaze drones, 10 ALPİN unmanned helicopters, 25 DUMRUL mini-helicopters, 500 DELİ tactical systems, and 500 KORGAN autonomous ground platforms.
The company's CEO, Aykut Ferah, stated that this agreement is not just a supply, but also the beginning of a strategic partnership.
The main element of the contract is the MERKÜT FPV kamikaze drone. This device was developed taking into account the experience of using FPV drones in Ukraine. The drone can operate for up to 30 minutes, works at a distance of up to 8 kilometers, is equipped with a thermal camera, and has an automatic explosion system without operator intervention.
The ALPİN unmanned helicopter has a payload capacity of up to 200 kilograms and can operate in fully autonomous mode. It is used for cargo delivery, evacuation of the wounded, and surveillance purposes.
The DUMRUL mini-helicopter, distinguished by its low noise level, is designed for reconnaissance and precision strikes, with a flight duration of up to 120 minutes.
KORGAN ground platforms, complementing air systems, allow reducing the direct involvement of personnel in the combat zone.
