The increase in gasoline prices at gas stations in Moscow has sharply accelerated.
Modern.az reports with reference to Russian media that, according to the results of June 15–19, the increase in prices for AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline in Moscow and the Moscow region has risen 3–4 times compared to previous weeks.
A faster price increase was recorded in the Moscow region. Here, the price of fuel increased by more than 3 rubles per liter.
Market participants explain the situation as follows: independent gas stations are forced to buy more expensive Belarusian gasoline due to a general decrease in fuel supply. This leads to a rapid increase in retail prices.
AI-92 gasoline increased by 2.07 rubles in Moscow from June 15–19, reaching 67.95 rubles per liter. However, in the previous period, the weekly increase varied between 0.1–0.5 rubles.
The situation is even more noticeable in the Moscow region. During this week:
The average price of AI-95 gasoline increased by 3.44 rubles, reaching 76.49 rubles per liter;
The average price of AI-92 gasoline increased by 3.87 rubles, reaching 69.71 rubles per liter.
A significant increase was also recorded in the price of diesel fuel:
In Moscow, the average price of diesel increased by 1.73 rubles, reaching 81.7 rubles per liter;
In the Moscow region, the price increased by 3.33 rubles, reaching 82.85 rubles per liter.
As experts note, this is the largest price increase observed since March.
