"The Insider" has published an extensive investigation into Russia's interference in the Armenian elections.

Modern.az reports that, according to the publication, after unsuccessful campaigns in Moldova, the Kremlin has directed its resources towards the parliamentary elections to be held on June 7.

"The Insider" claims that the goal is to prevent the victory of Nikol Pashinyan's "Civil Contract" party, which has embarked on a course of rapprochement with the EU and the US.

The investigation states that the following are involved in Armenia's efforts:

- Employees of the Russian Presidential Administration who control the situation in Armenia;
- Representatives of the Foreign Intelligence Service, the Main Intelligence Directorate, and the Federal Security Service (FSB) operating in Armenia under diplomatic and other cover;
- "Rossotrudnichestvo", the Russian House in Yerevan, the Gorchakov Fund, the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies (RISS), and other "soft power" structures;
- A network of affiliated experts, organizations, and media outlets.

The publication separately highlights the alleged role of the Russian intelligence service in Yerevan, its collection of information about Pashinyan's inner circle, and its work on political processes within Armenia.

A separate section is dedicated to the Armenian opposition. "The Insider" claims that some political and business elites, including individuals such as Samvel Karapetyan and Gagik Tsarukyan, have ties to Russian interests.

The investigation also discusses humanitarian and cultural projects, youth programs, and the promotion of the idea that Armenia's future is linked to Russia.
