A Turkish ship has been attacked in the Black Sea.
Modern.az reports that the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement about this. Two people were reported injured as a result of the attack.
“Two of our citizens were injured on a Turkish ship attacked in the Black Sea. The situation is being closely monitored,” the ministry’s statement said.
Issuing a statement regarding the incident, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the increasing tension in the Russia-Ukraine war damages regional security in the Black Sea and poses a threat to the country's interests.
The ministry stated that ensuring the safe movement of civilian ships in the region is one of Ankara's main priorities and called on all parties to take steps aimed at de-escalating tensions.
