2110 people have been brought to criminal responsibility for illegal drug trafficking in the first 5 months of this year.
The permanent working group of the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Drug Trafficking provided this information to Modern.az.
It was reported that 2057 of them were men and 53 were women.
25 of the persons brought to criminal responsibility are foreign citizens.
A total of 156 kg 822.062 grams and 974 pills of various types of narcotic substances were seized from the 25 foreign citizens brought to responsibility.
