Iranian Parliament Speaker and head of the delegation participating in talks with the US, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, responded to threats from White House chief Donald Trump.
Modern.az reports that Ghalibaf shared this on his "X" social media account.
"Don't they think about themselves that if their threats had any result, they wouldn't be in today's desperate situation? We consider American threats as nothing," Ghalibaf said.
"It would be better if they paid attention to their statements. Our Armed Forces are ready to respond to them differently," the parliament speaker warned.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced that Iran would be hit hard again if Tehran did not open the Strait of Hormuz and prevent the activities of its proxy forces in Lebanon.
It should be noted that talks between the US and Iran are being held in Switzerland.
