"Repair work continues to restore electricity supply to people after a heavy blow to the energy infrastructure in Odesa and the region. All necessary services are involved in the process and work will continue as long as needed. Residential buildings and the port were also damaged tonight. In particular, Russians are systematically fighting against world food security in this way. Currently, eight people are known to have been injured. All of them are provided with the necessary assistance".
Modern.az reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this on his "Telegram" account.
Zelensky noted that as a result of a direct hit by a drone in Kharkiv, four floors of an ordinary multi-story residential building were destroyed, dozens of people were injured, and two people died.
"An extremely heavy blow was inflicted near the shopping center and energy infrastructure in Pavlohrad. Nine people were injured in the city, including four children. Strikes were also carried out in Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv, Kyiv, Kherson, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk regions, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions.
Russia continues to rely on "ballistic terror" and this terror is not limited to one city or one community. This week alone, 61 missiles of various types were used against Ukraine, 56 of which attacked along a ballistic trajectory. Also, more than 1,560 attack drones were launched and 1,540 aviation bombs were dropped.
Every such blow to peaceful life is another reminder: it is necessary to increase pressure, impose more sanctions against Russia, and provide Ukraine with more air defense means. I am grateful to everyone who helps", - the Ukrainian leader wrote.
