Armenia has started large-scale repair works on one of the main state highways passing through the Zangazur region.
Modern.az reports that the "Road Department" Foundation of Armenia disseminated information about this.
According to the information, medium repair works are being carried out on the section of the Yerevan – Arasdayan – Norashen – Tatev – Kapan – Meghri – Armenia-Iran border (M-2) interstate highway from Zangar settlement to Borisovka village.
It was stated that the total length of the repaired road section is 13.4 kilometers.
The project is financed by the state budget of Armenia.
It should be noted that the M-2 highway is considered one of the main transport arteries providing access to the south of Armenia, including Kapan, Meghri and the Iranian border.
