"The closure of the Strait of Hormuz has not directly affected Turkey's energy supply."
Modern.az reports that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated this in an interview with Anadolu Agency.
According to Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Ankara created alternative energy routes years ago, and therefore the closure of the Strait of Hormuz has not directly affected the supply of energy carriers to Turkey.
"There are countries that, despite having financial capabilities, cannot purchase energy carriers. We only feel its economic impact. However, the closure of routes through the Red Sea directly harms us," Fidan said.
