Serbia plans to open a joint drone production plant with Israel in mid-September.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by the country's president Aleksandar Vučić at a joint press conference with Ukrainian president Vladimir Zelensky in Belgrade.
According to him, the opening ceremony of the plant may take place around September 15-20.
According to the Serbian publication “Srpske”, the enterprise will be located in the city of Šimanovci. 51% of the project will belong to the Israeli company “Elbit Systems”, and 49% to the Serbian state company “Jugoimport SDPR”.
