The Israeli military announced that Abu Hassan Alaa, a high-ranking commander of the Iran-backed “Badr” unit of the “Hezbollah” movement, was killed in a strike on the Deir al-Zahrani region in southern Lebanon.
Modern.az reports that, according to the Israeli army, the strike was carried out in response to “Hezbollah”'s activities against Israeli Defense Forces soldiers in the “security zone.”
The statement noted that Alaa had led several “Hezbollah” combat units involved in operations against Israeli soldiers and civilians in recent years.
