Tel Aviv wants to hold new and more substantive talks with Lebanon through US mediation.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Doron Spilman, a representative of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
According to him, Israel's strikes on Hezbollah should not disrupt the talks, but rather give a new impetus to the process.
Spilman noted that Israel and Lebanon have a common enemy like Hezbollah.
