The Iranian general promised 30 thousand dollars for the killing of US soldiers.
Modern.az reports with reference to Iranian media that the commander-in-chief of the Iranian Army, Amir Hatami, announced that a cash reward would be given for killing or capturing US servicemen.
Hatami stated at an event held on Journalists' Day that every Iranian who captures or kills a US serviceman will be rewarded with 30 thousand dollars.
The Iranian general said that the reward would be paid by the “Iranian people”. No additional mechanisms or conditions for the award were announced.
This statement was made at a time when tensions between Tehran and Washington continue.
