17 militants have been killed and several others wounded in two separate military operations in southwestern Pakistan.
According to Modern.az, citing Pakistan's APP agency, 10 militants were killed in an operation in the Shor Barud mountainous area of Khuzdar district, Balochistan province.
In another operation conducted in the Lajay region of the same province, 7 militants were eliminated. Security forces discovered a large number of modern weapons, ammunition, and other equipment during the operations.
Local sources reported that two cars and a motorcycle believed to belong to the militants were also seized, and their hideouts were destroyed.
Balochistan has long been considered one of the regions where armed groups, carrying out attacks on Pakistan's security and military facilities, are active.
