The governments of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain are dissatisfied with US President Donald Trump's failure to end the war with Iran.
Modern.az reports that The Washington Post published this information, citing Arab and Western officials.
According to the information, some of these countries have started discussing the expediency of further maintaining US military bases in their territories.
"Trump started this war, but we are paying the price," said one Arab official.
According to him, dissatisfaction among US allies reached its peak after the US and Israel's attacks on Iran in February.
In recent weeks, Trump has repeatedly threatened Iran, but later retracted his previous statements, citing progress in negotiations.
Meanwhile, Persian Gulf countries continue to suffer from attacks. Saudi Arabia, in particular, is subjected to attacks from both Iran and the Iranian-backed Yemeni Houthis.
The Houthis are also trying to close the Bab al-Mandab Strait, which connects the Red Sea with the Gulf of Aden and is one of the main routes for world trade.
After Iran blocked the Strait of Hormuz in the early days of the war, Saudi Arabia became more dependent on its Red Sea ports for oil exports.
