Modern.az reports with reference to local media that the hottest day was observed in the eastern part of the country - Moravia and Silesia. Near the city of Hodonín, the thermometer rose to 37.6 degrees.
According to meteorologists, this summer will be one of the hottest summers in the country during the entire period of weather observations.
At the same time, the authorities express serious concern about the intensification of the drought. Drought has covered 88 percent of the country's territory. The government will soon allocate 4 billion crowns (approximately 190 million dollars) to combat this disaster.
