As co-chairs of the Azerbaijan-Iran State Commission, the parties reviewed the implementation status of the issues stipulated in the Memorandum of Understanding signed on the results of the 17th meeting held in Baku in February.
During the telephone conversation, cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, transport and transit, energy, water and other fields, as well as the implementation dynamics of the projects being implemented, were discussed.
Among the transport projects, the completion of the construction of the Agband-Kalala automobile bridge was evaluated as an important result. Views were also exchanged on the measures to be taken to complete the work at the Astara cargo terminal.
