The Strait of Hormuz has been closed on condition of transit fees and payment of war reparations.
Modern.az reports with reference to "Fars" agency that Ibrahim Rezai, spokesman for the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian parliament, said this.
"In continuation of the investigation of the project "Strategic activity on the security of the Strait of Hormuz", the following issues were approved by the deputies," he said, adding that obtaining insurance and bank guarantees is mandatory.
In addition, insurance and service tariffs, as well as compensation must be paid by ships that participated in the war with Iran:
"Countries that have harmed Iran in any form during the war must agree with Iran on paying compensation, otherwise they will not be allowed to pass through the strait."
It should be noted that today the US Armed Forces launched a massive attack on Iranian facilities in the Strait of Hormuz. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Iran's "Khatam al-Anbiya" Military Command announced that retaliatory strikes were launched with missiles and drones on US bases in the region.
