Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has called for strengthening support for Ukraine.
Modern.az reports with reference to foreign media that Johnson made this call in connection with the drone incident that occurred on the Polish-Ukrainian border. He appealed to the allies, asking when Ukraine would be provided with the necessary air defense means.
The former Prime Minister also called on European Union countries to confiscate frozen Russian assets and use them for Ukraine's needs.
According to him, there are more than 140 billion euros in Russian assets in bank accounts in Belgium, and approximately 10 billion pounds sterling in London. Johnson stated that Great Britain can set an example for other countries in this matter.
It should be noted that earlier it was reported that Boris Johnson and other European officials narrowly avoided a possible strike by a Russian UAV on the Polish-Ukrainian border.
