The issue of creating a new state by separating from Cook County in 11 districts of Illinois, USA, will be put to a vote.
Modern.az reports that “NBC Chicago” disseminated information about this.
The vote is scheduled to be held simultaneously with the elections to the US Congress.
According to Loret Nyulin, head of the “Illinois Separation” organization, the state leadership does not take into account the opinions of local residents and adopts laws that may harm them.
The initiative envisages the creation of the 51st state of the USA.
