Masoud Pezeshkian had reported on Wednesday about his meeting with Mojtaba Khamenei at the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, emphasizing that the conversation, which lasted approximately two and a half hours, took place in a cordial atmosphere. He also praised Khamenei's leadership qualities.
President Pezeshkian noted that the most striking aspect of the meeting was the Supreme Leader's humble, sincere, and respectful demeanor. According to him, this approach transformed the discussion into an environment of trust, calm, empathy, and direct dialogue.
Pezeshkian emphasized the importance of strengthening solidarity, trust, and empathy in the country's governance system.
He stated that such ethical, humble, and people-oriented behavior from the highest-ranking official sets an example for the entire governance system.
According to Pezeshkian, this model is built on responsibility, closeness to the people, and listening to problems.
According to Modern.az, some Iranian sources claim that Masoud Pezeshkian's eagerness to meet with Mojtaba Khamenei, who is currently undergoing secret treatment, stems from the escalation of his relations with the IRGC.
It is alleged that in recent days, there has been serious tension between Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Ahmad Vahidi.
According to the claim, Pezeshkian is very angry about the recent actions of IRGC commander Ahmad Vahidi. This refers to the IRGC organizing missile and drone attacks against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) a few days ago without the government's knowledge and coordination. Pezeshkian considered these attacks to be completely irresponsible while the ceasefire with the US was ongoing.
According to reports, the President warned that this action by the IRGC could have serious consequences.
