According to American experts, Russia and Ukraine have lost approximately two million people in the war.
Modern.az reports that the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) published a report on this matter.
The report states that by the end of 2025, Ukraine's losses reached 600.000 thousand, and Russia's losses reached "approximately 1.2 million."
It is emphasized that since World War II, these losses are incomparably higher than the losses incurred in any other war.
It should be noted that losses refer to the number of wounded as well as the dead. Accordingly, the Ukrainian side has suffered between 100-150 thousand losses, and Russia between 275-325 thousand.
