Over the past week, Iranian Armed Forces have prevented about 30 vessels from attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz without permission.
Modern.az reports that Iranian media has disseminated this information. According to the report, the movement of these vessels attempting to pass through the strait between August 22-29 was prohibited by the military units of the Islamic Republic. It is noted that the movement of ships in the Strait of Hormuz has been restricted. Currently, transit is carried out only with the agreement of the Iranian side and upon payment of relevant fees.
