Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced the official number of Ukrainian soldiers killed in the war.

Modern.az reports that he shared this information in an interview with the “France 2” television channel.

“The official number of military personnel, both professional and mobilized, who have died on the battlefield in Ukraine is 55,000,” the Ukrainian leader stated.

He emphasized that this figure does not include individuals currently considered missing.
