Turkey is discussing the creation of a regional security platform with Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
Modern.az reports with reference to Turkish media that the parties are preparing to hold talks within the framework of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum this week.
The goal is to establish regular and structured cooperation on regional security issues.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated that countries in the region should commit to ensuring each other's sovereignty and security.
The development of this format is also expected to strengthen defense and trade relations among the participants.
