Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that the violation of the ceasefire, the naval blockade, and threats made by the United States are the main obstacles to real negotiations.

He noted that Tehran supports dialogue and agreement through negotiations and continues to do so. He added that “violations of commitments, blockade, and threats are the main obstacles to genuine negotiations.”
The President addressed US President Donald Trump, saying: “The world sees your endless hypocritical rhetoric and the contradiction between statements and actions.”
Previously, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated that “a complete ceasefire only makes sense if it is not violated by a naval blockade and the hostage-taking of the world economy, and if Israel’s war rhetoric is stopped on all fronts.”
