"Google DeepMind" company has released new videos showing how the "Gemini Robotics 2" artificial intelligence model performs various daily tasks at home.
Modern.az reports that in the demonstrations, "Gemini Robotics 2" controls both "Apptronik" company's "Apollo 2" humanoid robot and "Franka F3 Duo" system consisting of two robotic arms. Robots perform various household tasks by understanding the environment with the help of artificial intelligence.
One of the main advantages of "Gemini Robotics 2" is that artificial intelligence not only executes the given command, but also analyzes the physical environment and determines what actions are needed. Thus, the capabilities of artificial intelligence models such as "Gemini" are integrated into physical robots, moving beyond computer and smartphone screens. The technology demonstrated by Google DeepMind does not yet mean that robots will be in every home in the near future. However, new demos show that humanoid and robotic arm systems may be able to do some of the housework instead of humans in the future.
