During recent missile strikes on Kyiv, the Russian army hit a facility belonging to the US company "Terminal Autonomy" that produces unmanned aerial vehicles. "The Guardian" reported this.
Modern.az reports that as a result of the strike, the facility where "AQ-400 Scythe" and "AQ-100 Bayonet" strike UAVs were produced was destroyed. The main feature of these unmanned aerial vehicles is an artificial intelligence-based control system. Even when communication is cut off or exposed to Russian electronic warfare systems, the drones are capable of continuing their flight and independently hitting the target.
According to the information, there were no deaths as a result of the attack. "The Guardian" considers this the first known incident where Russia targeted a production facility belonging to a US defense company operating in Ukraine.
