Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan continues his pre-election campaign in Syunik province.

Modern.az reports with reference to Armenian media that Pashinyan disagreed with those who accused the government of territorial losses during his speeches.

“I want to say unequivocally: we have not lost territories. Because the territories presented to us as ours and belonging to us not only did not belong to us, but on the contrary, were used to weaken our right of ownership and belonging over our internationally recognized territories,” he said.

According to Nikol Pashinyan, the “Karabakh movement” was a fateful mistake for the Armenian people.

“Whatever we say, they answer us: ‘What about Karabakh?’ They were deceiving us and instilling the idea that we lived badly for the sake of Karabakh,” he noted.

Nikol Pashinyan also assured that no Armenian government has done as much for Karabakh as the “Civil Contract” party.

“There were high salaries and pensions in Karabakh at the expense of Armenia. People who forget this are ungrateful and deny what they received,” Pashinyan said.
