Israeli forces have detected and neutralized two separate "Hezbollah" groups operating in southern Lebanon over the past week.
Modern.az reports that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released information about this.
It was reported that the groups, consisting of a total of 7 armed individuals, used an underground passage for storing ammunition, mortar shells, and food supplies, as well as for organizing attacks against Israeli forces.
According to the IDF, the operation was carried out as a result of coordinated activities by the Israeli Air Force, artillery units, and unmanned aerial vehicles. As a result, all armed individuals using the aforementioned underground route were neutralized.
It was noted that during the search conducted in the area after the operation, "Kalashnikov" assault rifles, various military equipment, rocket launch points, and additional weapons and ammunition were discovered and destroyed.
