Azerbaijani-born Russian businessman, founder and largest shareholder of "Lukoil" company Vahid Alakbarov is ranked 82nd in the list of the world's richest people.
Modern.az reports with reference to “Bloomberg” that the 75-year-old businessman has a personal fortune of 29.5 billion dollars.
It is emphasized that the "Lukoil" company he founded has more than 100,000 employees and produces 2% of the world's oil.
It should be noted that Vahid Alakbarov was born in Baku in 1950. He graduated from Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry (formerly Azerbaijan Institute of Oil and Chemistry).
