At least 10 billion dollars of private funds will be allocated for the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) projects in Turkey.
Modern.az reports that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan informed about this.
"Turkey is making intensive efforts to transfer the experience and capabilities accumulated in the defense industry to other fields, especially in the field of artificial intelligence. We will mobilize at least 10 billion dollars of private investment for the development of data center infrastructure, cloud technologies and artificial intelligence.
We will allocate at least 2% of our state investment programs to artificial intelligence projects. By 2030, we will increase the installed capacity of data centers in our country to at least 1 GW. We will play an active role in the development of human-centered artificial intelligence standards in OECD, G20, UN and other international forums. I hope that together we will turn Turkey into a leading country in the age of artificial intelligence," he added.
