Information has been spread about the death of two more Azerbaijani-born servicemen in the Russia-Ukraine war.
According to information obtained by Modern.az, Aftandil Arif oglu Hajiyev, born in 1980, and Farhad Mustafa oglu Gasimov, born in 1973, lost their lives during military operations in Ukraine in the ranks of the Russian army.
Aftandil Arif oglu Hajiyev, 46, who was conscripted into military service from Kamenka settlement of Leningrad region of Russia, died in the direction of Kharkiv region, and Farhad Gasimov, who was born in Azerbaijan on March 15, 1973 and lived in Dubensovskaya village of Rostov region for many years, died in the direction of Donetsk region.
It is reported that they served in the motorized rifle brigades of the Russian Armed Forces.
It should be noted that since the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine war, information about the death of people from various countries, including those of Azerbaijani origin, from both sides has been regularly spread.
