US-Iran talks planned for June 19 in Bürgenstock, Switzerland, will not take place.
Modern.az reports that "Reuters" agency disseminated information about this, citing the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the information, the meeting planned between the parties has been canceled. However, no official statement has been made about the reason for this decision.
The Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs also did not share information about whether the talks will be held in the future or whether a new date has been set.
It should be noted that the Bürgenstock meeting was planned as a continuation of the diplomatic contacts between the US and Iran that have intensified in recent months. It was expected that the talks would discuss relations between the two countries, regional security issues, and topics related to the nuclear program.
