The US Department of Defense (Pentagon) is exploring possible military operation options against Cuba. These options include a scenario where thousands of soldiers from the US Army's 101st Airborne Division are deployed to the island.

According to the information, although such plans have been discussed in recent weeks, no final decision has been made yet.
US Secretary of War Pete Hegset had previously hinted at the possibility of using force against Cuba. He stated in June that Cuba's attempt to acquire weapons that could pose a threat to the US could lead to a confrontation between Washington and Havana.
According to intelligence data, Cuba has acquired more than 300 unmanned aerial vehicles for use against the Guantanamo military base, US warships, and the state of Florida.
However, sources consider a military operation against Cuba in the near future to be unlikely. It is reported that due to the rekindled war with Iran, significant Pentagon resources have already been diverted to other directions.
It is emphasized that the Donald Trump administration is currently mainly using economic and diplomatic pressure to achieve a change of power in Cuba.
